NEWS FROM THE FRONT: NEW DUST RELEASES FROM MARCH 25, 2020. THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP: IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT EVENT AT MODENA PLAY.

by Lucas Dune

From the Mother house, Dust Studio for almost the end of March there are some interesting arrivals related to our favorite wargame: Dust 1947. All these news will be available on store shelves and in Webshops from 25 March 2020. These new releases come out both in the KIT version and in the Ready to Play version (pre-assembled, made of colored plastic that is no longer painted). Ready to be played immediately !! (Except the gigantic two-player Battle Box, only available in the pre-assembled version, as Dust Game has accustomed us, with a multi-language regulation inside which includes Italian). Below I am going to illustrate the items and finally I will also talk about a really important Tournament appointment, not to be missed: The 6th Italian Dust Championship that will be played in Modena, organized by Legio Italica with the collaboration of Ammo Drop. This event is interesting for everyone because there will be not only the tournament but also some mini-friendly tournaments (to try this mode), many demo tables and courses and painting tips.

Battle for Babylon: This fantastic Battle Box is a splendid two-player starter set and a great way to enter the world of DUST as it includes everything you need to play exciting and fierce battles. In the box you will find: Plastic miniatures already pre-assembled and ready to play in the beautiful Ready to Play version (colored plastic); two 6×9 game mats / posters each with stunning graphics, which refers to the recent expansion “Paradise Lost” (… jungle, river and desert); terrain elements; unit cards; dice for both sides; multi-language regulation which includes the Italian language; 3D elements, such as crates to create targets and anti-tank traps to hinder the advance of enemy vehicles. This box is full of interesting things!

For USMC (Marines), this set includes: – Frank (1 hero) – a USMC Demolition Squad (5 miniatures) – one USMC Heavy MachineGun Squad (3 miniatures) – a Six Shooter Walker (1 Walker) For Blutkreuz, this set includes: – Sigrid (1 hero) – a Zombie Squad (5 miniatures) – a Gorilla Pioneer Squad (3 miniatures) – a Snow Lynx (1 Walker) These miniatures are supplied with their unit cards, for use with the 1947 Dust rules. Like all normal Dust miniatures, these are already pre-assembled. They are ready for the battlefield, or for painting, as you prefer!

Lufwaffe Support Weapons: all the units with support weapons and the Luftwaffe paratroopers observers team in one box. Death comes from the sk; they all possess the Airborne ability that makes them able to parachute onto the battlefield and strike the enemy by surprise; they are brave and lethal. – Fallschirmjager Missile Squad – Fallschirmjager Laser Gun Squad – Fallschirmjager Mortar Squad – Fallschirmjager Observer Squad
