Dust Tactics 1st Edition – AEG Core Set (AEG5210) is the first edition of the acclaimed tactical miniatures board game set in the Weird War II universe of Dust, created by Paolo Parente.
This particular box belongs to the very first 2010 production run and is distinguished by the presence of the original AEG – Alderac Entertainment Group logo together with the Dust Studio branding.
AEG was originally intended to publish Dust Tactics. Shortly before commercial distribution, the publishing rights moved to Fantasy Flight Games, and many already-produced AEG boxes were later distributed with FFG branding applied over the original AEG logo.
The copy offered here still shows the original AEG branding on the box and is Factory Sealed, coming from original old stock. This makes it especially interesting for collectors looking for an early-production version that reflects the very first publishing phase of Dust Tactics.
The Core Set provides everything needed to enter the world of Dust Tactics, placing the Allies and Axis against each other in an alternate World War II transformed by VK technology, experimental weapons, armored vehicles and massive combat walkers.
The large First Edition box includes more than 30 miniatures, including soldiers, heroes and walkers, together with maps, cards and the components required to play.
Now long out of production, this 2010 AEG First Edition has become particularly difficult to find in new, sealed condition. The visible original AEG-branded packaging also makes it an important piece for collectors interested in the early publishing history of Dust Tactics.
